How were the first times with one another?
JB: We had to do a scene where Rita invited Lila over for dinner with Dexter, to get to know her better cause she was Dexter’s sponsor… And we were shooting the scene and they have all this food and it was like, what was it? Lamb chops or something?
JM: Yeah, lamb chops.
JB: And we had like, an actual cook on set, cooking the food, so we could actually eat in the scene… But most actors, they don’t really eat in the scenes, I mean, we just don’t. Cause you gotta do take after take after take, and it gets really gross by the end of the day.
JM: You get things in your teeth.
JB: And it’s just non-attractive and I look over and I see Jaime… Just- she’s chowing down! Not only while filming, but inbetween takes! And that’s when I realised that I love this girl! Like, I absolutely love her! We’re gonna be friends! She’s inbetween- and then she’s taking off of my plate, and other people’s plates…
JM: I WAS IN CHARACTER!
JB: And I was like, I did lean over her and I’m like ‘you DO know we’re gonna be here all day shooting this? You don’t have to eat so much!’
JM: Well, you say that to me when we go out for dinner now!
JB: I do, yeah. She does the same thing at dinner! She takes off my plate, she’s “Oh dahling, you don’t want that!” and I’m like “but, I was hungry…”
Interviewer: “Now Amanda’s been pretty diplomatic in dealing with Datak, are the gloves gonna come off at some point?”
Julie Benz: “I hope so, I hope so. He fixed that election, I know it. Did you see in the background of, I think it was the final episode, they had a poster of Amanda’s poster, and I think Tony and Jaime really did that. I was watching it with Jaime and I was like “Oh, god”, ‘cause I wasn’t there that day they were filming, so I didn’t know, it was horrifying. So I need to get back at him, for sure, for that poster alone. ‘Cause it’s out there somewhere. I’m sure, I think either Tony or Jaime took it home and framed it.” (x)
You just kind of have to whistle to yourself…
|Well now you guys are being assholes. She asked in the nicest way possible. She gave you all the credit and asked them if she should take them down, she did everything you asked and calling her an asshole still isn't cool.|
Well, reposting isn’t cool on tumblr, or anywhere on the internet for that matter, just check 9gag, tumblr, weheartit or wherever, and all users of these social media should realize this. She didn’t credit, actually until someone else apparently messaged her about it. That isn’t being nice, that’s being caught doing something you shouldn’t and then saying you’re sorry you were caught.
If she had asked before she reposted them, I would still have have told her to go to the sources, as I believe most the things he/she reposted weren’t done originally by this blog. If we can take the effort to go to someone’s blog and hit the reblog button, then so can anyone else, and the original poster will get the credit, which is as it should be.
i wasn’t calling her/him an asshole, I was calling EVERYONE who repost stuff, assholes. As they are. And anyone who doesn’t agree can go take a hike.
|Hello there! It's acaposen - that's my real account and I reposted some of your tweets and I'm sorry but my phone wouldn't reblog them and I have you all the credit but if you really want me to take them down I will be happy too:) By the way I LOVE your blog.|
Um, no reposting really isn’t cool. There really are no circumstances that make reposting ok on tumblr, to be honest, and if you can’t manage to reblog on your phone (I see you managed to reblog everything else, except for those posts to your other URL norma-jennings) the choice is actually really easy, wait until you are at a computer to do it or go get the tweets yourself. I don’t know if I compiled those or not, but even if I didn’t, I would have reblogged them from whoever did. So yeah, I guess I’d prefer it if you took them down and reblogged them instead, because reposting stuff makes you an asshole, no matter who you repost from.
Even if most of the posts here are just tweets that have been screengrabbed and put in sequence, and I have no problem admitting that takes little in the way of artistry, I (or whoever I reblogged it from) took the time to find them and do that.
It’s cool that you like the blog, but reposting is a shitty way of showing it.
Which goes for everyone, no matter what, you see something you like on tumblr, REBLOG, never repost. Because it’s really easy to not be assholes.
